Refund policy

We have a 90-day return policy on mechanical parts, which means you have 90 days after receiving your item to request a return for refund, store credit, or exchange. Brokered parts have the same return policy and standard warranty as in-house part sales.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. Parts that have been altered, damaged, or are not the original parts sold are not acceptable for return. Rocki Top Auto is the sole determiner of condition for return and reserves the right to refuse returns if the condition of used merchandise has changed from the date of sale. You'll also need your original invoice — no returns, exchanges, or warranty claims will be processed without it.

To start a return, contact us at sales@rockitopauto.com. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Returned parts are subject to a 15% handling charge if accepted. Shipping, freight, and handling charges are non-refundable, and the buyer assumes all cost of return freight/shipping.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned:

  • Hybrid batteries
  • Body sections that have been cut to order
  • Parts that do not match what was originally sold
  • Parts that have been altered or damaged after sale

Automotive batteries (non-hybrid) must be returned within 30 days. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Core charges and exchanges
Exchange parts must be turned in at the time of purchase, or a core charge will be applied. The core charge will be refunded if the exchange parts are received within 10 days. Refund of the core charge will not include sales tax.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Deposits on special orders
A reasonable cash deposit is required for orders where parts must be obtained from other sources.


Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return and you haven't received your refund, please contact us at sales@rockitopauto.com.


Buyer responsibility
Rocki Top Auto is not responsible for buyer error and assumes no responsibility for improper installation or usage after the time of purchase.


ARA Gold Seal Certification
The recycled OEM parts purchased from Rocki Top Auto are provided by a professional automotive recycler that participates in the ARA Gold Seal Certified Auto Recycler Program. Rocki Top Auto agrees to the Gold Seal Code of Ethics. If you feel we have failed to deliver on a promise or you are not satisfied with your product, please first address the issue with us. If you do not feel we have been responsive, you may call the Gold Seal hotline at (888) 385-1005.
